Horizon West Lodge
Comfortable and fully equipped, our Sitka fishing lodge is conveniently located within walking distance of our docks—though we provide a shuttle. We have 4 suites, 4 boats, and 4 vans, so typically a group will book a suite, which comes with a van and a boat designated to that suite.
Inside the lodge, a spacious commons area invites guests to relax, share stories, celebrate the day’s catch, and soak in the beauty of a late-evening sunset. When you compare the amenities, choosing Horizon West Lodge becomes an easy decision.
Fishing Lodge Amenities
Horizon West Lodge features a tasteful balance between function and comfort, with plenty of space and numerous amenities. Each of the suites in the lodge includes:

Spacious Bedrooms
We have a total of 4 suites available. Two of these have 2 beds and 1 bath and the other two have 2 beds and 2 baths. With a combination of mostly single beds along with some double beds and some bunk beds, we can accommodate up to 6 guests in each suite with a minimum of 4 people required to book the entire suite.
If you are only traveling in a group of 2, you have the option to mix with another group if both parties agree, or the 2 of you can stay in a nearby hotel. We would recommend the hotel and then you can mix with others on the boat for fishing. Keep in mind that we do have a 4-person minimum per boat.
Dining During Your Fishing Trip
At Horizon West Lodge, we stock the fridge for your breakfast, so you have things to cook like bacon and eggs, or lighter options like yoghurt and cereal. We take care of lunch on the boat for you. For dinner we provide a list of local restaurants in Sitka for you to choose from so you can dine on your own or with another group.
